Stone Slade, Realtor®

Stone and his family lived in San Rafael, CA for the first 3 years of his life. His father's involvement with major Rock & Roll acts such as the Grateful Dead kept the family in California until Stone was around 5.  The Slade family finally settled down in beautiful Austin, Texas as Stone entered the 4th grade. A few years later, Stone's uncle Chesley Millikin, discovered the legendary late Stevie Ray Vaughan. Over the next 4-5 years his father was Stevie's tour manager, right up until the year before he tragically passed away. "I will always miss Stevie. I got to become pretty close to him and the band during the summers that I got to go on tour."

Beginning in the late 90's, Stone and a few friends started to put on some of the largest wakeboarding/music festivals in and around Austin through the 360 wakeboard club. Check them out at www.360wakeboard.com.

Stone has also been a freelance graphic artist since '89 under the company name Wet Media. He spent a couple of years in the Mortgage Industry before becoming a Real Estate agent in 2007. "Growing up in this city, watching it grow with me and being so closely connected to the music scene makes me feel like I can really show someone that's moving here what Austin is all about"


Stone's love of Austin is so great that it cannot be put into words. "It's the place where I grew up. Where I met my best friend. Where I learned to wakeboard. Where I turned in to the man I am today. I can't think of any other place in the world that I would rather raise my family. And I want to be there to help others see how amazing Austin truly is."
